  1. UPD&G boxcar in the photo in the middle? Nice photos. Thanks for posting them.

    1. You're welcome Doug. Our other brother Doug and I were having an offline discussion about Georgetown and the two mills in these photos. Roper found these and I hope Doug will chime in about them. Obviously, the firefighter photo was taken before the removal of the spur switch and smokestack. Love the bumper too! That would be a scary scene if a boxcar got loose running down main street.

  2. Darel,

Nice pictures! The top picture was exactly what I was looking for. It shows the sides of the Pelican-Dives Mill & Warehouse (approx. center of picture) that do not show up in photos often. Then in the lower right there is the Clear Creek Company Sampling Works and/or The Hazelton Santiago Mill and Assay Office. Nice angle showing the trestle and deck. Too bad the picture doesn't swing to the right just a bit further. Good eye catching the boxcar in the background on the other pics, again at the Pelican-Dives.

    1. As you suggest, I think we are seeing two separate mills in the lower right corner. Each have their own spur.
