  2. Thank you Bob for providing such a fantastic picture. Sure wish this was in color (sigh).
I've never seen anybody model the cord to the car before.

  3. Nice picture! What makes this loco unique is that it never made it to the C&S. It was leased by the UPD&G and according to Colorado Rail Annual #12, was sold or scrapped in Dec. 1898.

  4. This was one of the locos used in the staged collision in Denver in 1896.Does anybody know where the arena for that event was located?

  5. Great Shot. Very inspiring. I need one in On3.

  6. You Gotta Love the Greeley, Salt Lake & Pacific with all its leased 1890s and 1890's vintage Colorado Central equipment.

One of these little beauties in On3 pulling my little fleet of Leadville Shops C.C. boxcars, well, I would never come up from the basement. Perhaps bashing a Bachmann 2-6-0 into On3 using the Grandt Line modification kits would be interesting.

    Sincerely,

  7. Remember that the G,SL&P originally started out with one of the CC Porter engines.Andrew Dodge built a model of a DSP&P Brooks Mogul several years ago.NG&SL has had several good plans of the Brooks Moguls recently.

  8. The plans are by David Fletcher.

  9. I'm surprised none of you have mentioned how the building on the left had evolved over time. First photos of Sunset show only the main building, later a lean-to added at the rear and then the front veranda as shown here. By the time the wye track to Ward was put in, the veranda had gone. Now that would be really dating a model !
